About this draught excluder tape & foam strips
GUKOY 20m White Slim Foam Draught Tape, 6mm
Most draught tape is sold in generous thicknesses, which is a problem if your gap is thin. Fit a thick tape to a narrow gap and you will fight with the window every time you try to close it. This tape is intentionally slim: 6mm wide and only 3mm thick, a dimension that suits the finest gaps around windows, cupboards and smaller doors.
The foam is described as a high-density closed-cell material, made from CR foam and neoprene. Closed-cell foam does not soak up water like sponge and it holds its shape over repeated compressions, which means it does not go flat as quickly. The grid pattern on the adhesive backing is there to improve grip.
Two rolls of 10m make a total of 20m, which goes a long way. It suits a room full of casement windows, or several cupboard doors, or the thin gap along a door that closes against a rebate. Keep the spare roll in the resealable bag to keep dust off the adhesive.
