The complete guide
Setting up a twin-sided draught excluder so it does not slip
Fit the sponges first
Put three sponge pieces into each pocket of the cloth cover and lay the excluder flat. The pieces should sit end to end with no big gap between them.
Slide it on
Open the door, slide the cover over the bottom edge with a sponge on each side, and close the door. Use the elastic bands and the hook-and-loop tape to stop the cover slipping.
Adjusting the length
If your door is narrower than 88cm, push the sponges to the middle and let the cover end flop slightly. For a very worn floor with a variable gap, you can swap one of the sponges for a thinner piece in the lowest spot.
